A ducted system or a large split can push a house past what its switchboard or consumer mains can carry. We check that before you buy equipment, not after.

What determines the price
- Capacity in kilowatts, and whether the room really needs that much
- Distance between indoor and outdoor units
- Whether a dedicated circuit already exists at the board
- Whether the switchboard has space and RCD protection
- Single or three phase supply for larger ducted systems
- Access — roof space, wall type, and where the outdoor unit lands
The electrical half of the job
Every fixed air conditioner needs its own circuit. On a full switchboard that means either a board upgrade or, on older homes, an upgrade to the consumer mains as well before anything gets installed.
Because we are accredited for network-side work, a mains upgrade does not become a second job with a second contractor and a second wait.

Either. We can supply and install, or install a unit you have already bought — tell us the model when you ask for a quote.
Will my switchboard cope?
Often yes for a single split, less often for ducted. We check the board and the mains as part of quoting.
Do I need three phase for ducted?
Larger ducted systems sometimes do. If yours does, we can handle the supply upgrade as accredited work.
Who does the refrigerant work?
Licensed refrigerant handling is required for the pipework and charging, and that is part of the install.
Can you replace an old system?
Yes, including removing and disposing of the old unit and reusing existing pipework where it is suitable.
