Halogen downlights draw around ten times the power of an equivalent LED and dump most of it into the roof space as heat. Replacing them is one of the few upgrades that pays for itself on the bill and removes a fire risk at the same time.

Colour temperature is the part people regret
Most complaints about new LED lighting are not about brightness, they are about colour. Cool white in a living room reads as institutional; warm white in a kitchen bench area can feel dim even when it is not.

Can you reuse the existing holes?
Often yes, if the new fittings match the cut-out size. Where they do not, the ceiling is patched as part of the job.
Why do my dimmed lights flicker?
Almost always a mismatch between the dimmer and the LED driver. It is fixable, and it is the most common lighting callout we get.
What colour temperature should I choose?
Warm white for living and bedrooms, neutral for kitchens and bathrooms, cooler for workshops and garages, as a starting point.
How many downlights does a room need?
Fewer than most people install. Layout and beam angle matter more than count.
Do you do commercial and emergency lighting?
